Watering in Miami Gardens

Water in Miami Gardens comes from two utilities. Part of the city is on NMB Water, run by North Miami Beach, and the rest is on Miami-Dade Water and Sewer. It matters for your timer: NMB Water does not allow lawn watering between 7am and 7pm, a longer window than the county's 10am to 4pm. Your water bill says which one you have.

We set controllers to those days, check that each zone covers its area in the time allowed and repair the rain sensor that Florida law requires on automatic systems.

Miami-Dade may pay part of the upgrade

Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department offers homes with a working in-ground sprinkler system a free irrigation evaluation and a rebate of up to $500 a year, for up to five years, on the improvements it recommends: sensors, controllers, zoning, heads and low volume irrigation among them.

The county evaluates the system before and after the work and asks for an itemized invoice showing parts and labor, paid in full. We can make the recommended changes and give you that invoice. Confirm the current conditions with the county before you start.

Why Exsolares

Engineering experience behind the work

Exsolares Solutions combines Electrical Engineering training, a master's in Irrigation and Drainage, and more than two decades of technical and field experience.

That background connects irrigation design and repair with pumping, electrical systems and energy efficiency. It allows the assessment to follow the problem through the installation and the proposed solution to reflect how the whole system operates.

Professional training

Electrical Engineering and a master's in Irrigation and Drainage inform the technical assessment.

Connected systems

Water distribution, pumps and electrical controls are considered together.

Experience across applications

Residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural work brings a broad technical perspective.

Water and energy efficiency

Assessments and consumption calculations help identify losses and prioritize improvements.
